My eyes are burning, but let me see that again (I am still in shock)

Ok pregnant ladies... I think bump pictures are freaking cute. They are cute, you are cute. It is all cute. Until tonight. Tonight was not cute. Horrifying maybe, but certainly not cute.

After hanging out with my ladies, one of my friends showed me these pictures that figuratively made me throw up a little in my mouth. These pictures were of a baby bump. Typically I think pregnant women are absolutely, without fail, adorable. I even like to describe practically perfect men as having a pregnancy glow. However, pregnancy pictures from certain angles are just terrifying.

If you decide to have someone immortalize the moments that your child spends inside your womb, please make sure that you have a thoughtful and perceptive photographer take the pictures. My friend Shauna takes wonderful pictures, and she has often offered her services to anyone needing beautiful pictures. She recently took very tasteful and beautiful baby bump pictures of my best friend from high school, Sheri. Sheri looks gorgeous. The baby bump looks adorable. Both look very feminine.

But the pictures I saw tonight made the poor woman look like China, that hideous alcoholic wrestler, draped in skimpy, skimpy, Greek-wanna-be-fantasy fashion. YIKES. Trying to look extremely sexy or trollupy while pregnant is ALWAYS a bad idea. To make things worse, the angles were completely the opposite of flattering, maybe even revolting.

Please exercise caution ladies. This should be a crime.
